Q:
How do I get started? A: The visa application will consist of all the government forms which are required along with a cover letter from The Family Visa Center to the U.S.C.I.S. summarizing the evidence being presented. K-1 Fiancee visa cases will include a detailed legal brief. The visa application packet will be sent to you by Federal Express for your signature along with prepaid envelopes to return the signed packet to us. Once we receive the packet we will Federal Express the application packet to the proper U.S.C.I.S office for processing. Q: How long does it take after that? A: It depends on the visa you are requesting and the country of the beneficiary. Fiancée visas take 6 to 7 months for the U.S.C.I.S. to issue the visa. Spousal Visas (K-3) usually take 7 to 9 months. However, work permits are usually available in about 3 months. Naturalization can take up to 1 year. Q: Will The Family Visa Center remain on the case until I get my visa or green card? A: Absolutely. Our attorneys and paralegals will be available at all times during business hours all through the case until its successful conclusion. Q: How will I know you got the visa? A: We will notify you as soon as we get the notification from the U.S.C.I.S. |
